What will you do

Sensormatic Electronics, LLC seeks a Sr. Mobile Engineer at its facility located at 5211 Linbar Dr, Suite 508, Nashville, TN 37211.

How will you do it

• Work with internal (e.g., sales, supports, etc.) and external clients in defining new products in addition to supporting existing products.
• Scope and document technical work based on business requirements.
• Design, implement and create loosely coupled, robust and highly scalable applications.
• Prototype applications to evaluate new technologies as appropriate.
• Enhance the performance of existing applications, and services.
• Develop code that is platform agnostic; and where applicable, browser agnostic.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met.
• Enhance the performance of existing applications, and services.
• Work with a large team of engineers in a cross-functional environment implementing high-quality products.
• Provide status of their efforts on a daily (morning Scrum) and weekly (Team Huddle) basis. Telecommuting: Remote Work May Be Permitted.

What we look for

This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a software engineer or related occupation.

Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with:

(1) Computer Science Fundamentals, Software Design, and Software Debugging;

(2) Developing complex UI components and interactions using Native Android (X-Code, Android Studio, Java/Kotlin, OR ADB Commands);

(3) iOS (Javascript/Obj-C) development;

(4) JavaScript, Android Framework, AND Linux;

(5) Source code version control with GitHub (both Desktop and Command Line), including branching, rebasing, merging, and code reviews; and

(6) Consumption and Creation of UX wireframes and UX style guides.
