PayPal Inc. seeks Sr. MTS, Software Engineer in La Vista NE:

Job Duties: Design, develop, and build technical solutions, software applications, and software integrations that are used by software engineering teammates around the world to service customers and power the next generation of Customer Care Teammate software products. Build backend application programming interfaces (APIs), enhance existing web applications, integrate to third-party software applications, and re-platform PayPal's existing software applications as required. Perform software application maintenance and deployments. Contribute to the automated test suite to enable continuous integration of software applications. Enhance and maintain PayPal's existing software application product capabilities by providing innovative technical solutions which are reliable, sustainable, extendable, and secure. Conduct formal and informal code reviews and provide coding feedback to improve code quality across Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Understand and apply PayPal technical architecture to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure software application deployments. Design and implement new software applications, frameworks, and features within the Team backlog. Clarify new software application products and features requested by PayPal's Product owners in collaboration with the Agile/Scrum team.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
