Sr. Network and Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with significant experience in IT system management and strong background in DevOps/SRE engineering. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on providing high-level technical support and infrastructure maintenance.

What you will do:

• Provide L2 & L3 technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and applications with a strong emphasis on network-related issues.

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure focusing on Cisco Nexus 9K switches wireless controllers APs ISE DNA Palo Alto firewalls transitioning from Cisco Firepower FTD appliances and Alkira cloud networking technologies.

• Administer Azure Cloud services including Azure AD cloud/WAN hub and VPN.

• Optimize IT performance availability and reliability with proficiency in NetApp Kubernetes/Docker GitLab and monitoring tools like SumoLogic and Prometheus.

• Coordinate with IT engineering teams and vendors providing operational status reports and quarterly trend analysis.

• Manage deployed applications in Azure including both custom and off-the-shelf software.

Who you are:

• Strong experience with Cisco and Palo Alto networks Microsoft Azure Azure AD Okta SailPoint and Alkira.

• Proficiency in Ansible Terraform NetApp Docker and cloud-native services. Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.

• Relevant certifications in Cisco Palo Alto Networks Microsoft or DevOps are desirable.
