About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer with a focus on CloudFlare and CrowdStrike technologies to join Beyond Finance and contribute to our exciting growth journey. In this position, you will develop strategic, innovative, cost-effective solutions to enhance our services and operations' efficiency, reliability, and cohesion. You will operate in a semi-autonomous and dynamic work setting.
Responsibilities:
- Employ network monitoring tools and engage with end-users to address network issues.
- Proactively detect network concerns and communicate with end-users facing potential difficulties.
- Manage and maintain routers, switches, APs, VOIP, servers, and telecommunication equipment both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Implement, administer, and optimize CloudFlare and CrowdStrike technologies for network security and performance.
- Observe vital system metrics to recognize trends and perform analyses.
- Ensure solution documentation is complete and in compliance with relevant security requirements.
- Collaborate with technical staff and remote users to assist with secure applications.
- Oversee and maintain a Zero-Trust environment.
- Collaborate with IT Experience, DevOps, and SecOps teams across functions.
- Support remote sites in Chicago, Houston, Fort Worth, and San Diego.
- Travel to locations as needed for upgrades, maintenance, and vendor management (10%).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience with the following SaaS infrastructure technologies: Cloud architecture/networking in AWS and GCP, Palo Alto firewalls, PA Panorama management, Aruba Networks, and Cisco Meraki.
- Deep expertise in CloudFlare and CrowdStrike technologies, including remote site network security and performance optimization.
- Strong experience in planning, installing, and maintaining local/wide area networks.
- Proficient in IAM, SSO, SAML, LDAP, and Radius integrations.
- Experience with JumpCloud is a plus.
- Exposure to Rapid7 is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
