Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Senior Network Technician, you will be responsible for providing support to end users.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, terminate, maintain, and troubleshoot network cabling infrastructure including: Fiber optic, UTP, STP
- Troubleshoot user connectivity issues
- Document cable plant infrastructure
- Maintain supporting documentation
- Configure, upgrade and install network equipment
- Implement networks from customer supplied documentation
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
SUPERVISION:
None
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years of related experience
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
- Four (4) years of networking infrastructure experience
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language
- Personal vehicle for inter-property travel required, out of state travel required, reliable transportation
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid Driver's License
- DMV Report
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledgeable of networking protocols
- Knowledgeable of wiring standards and implementation
- Ability to use and understand results of all test equipment used in cable plant testing
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e.
telephone, copier, fax machine
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
