GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $80,000 to $100,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-monthly payroll, including some manual prorations, commissions, and final pay.
- Work with Finance on ensuring payroll is reconciled.
- Work with our Operations team to finalize state taxes are set up and managed appropriately.
- Process weekly expenses separate from our payroll runs.
- Obtain needed level of approval for employee changes
- Approve corporate expense request and office invoices
- Audit HR expenses for gifting
- Maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to keep our data up to date, and to ensure appropriate use of the HRIS system
- Finalize the onboarding process by ensuring hiring documentation is gathered and documented appropriately
- Process and audit full 401k cycle, including processing contributions both individual and company, and tracking towards max contributions for the year
- Prepare Human Resource related reports to meet internal and external reporting needs
- Review, create and update company policy and procedures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with EEO, ERISA, DOL, FMLA, HIPAA and department of Immigrations.
- Administer company-wide initiatives that are driven from the HRIS system which could include processing and organization of promotions, merit increases, and certain performance management functions
- Assist as needed during preparation of yearly open enrollment
- Research and maintain policies and procedures to ensure multistate compliance for all related HR duties
- Documenting all needed HR files
- Involvement in HR projects and benefits as needed
- Ability to answer team member questions in regards to payroll
- Occasional office and other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Agency experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Bamboo is a plus
- Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions from an administration HR function
- Five plus years experience in administrating and managing payroll from beginning to end
- Experience with managing multistate payroll
- Experience with managing and owning 401k
- Proficient Excel capabilities
- Knowledge and experience with handling different employee situations corresponding to pay
- A thorough understanding of local, state and federal laws pertaining to fair employment practices is essential.
- Ability to keep up to date and a pulse on everchanging compliance needs and laws.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt within an ever changing fast moving environment
