Reporting to the Sr Manager, People Success, the Sr. People Success Manager, Enablement role is a new position within the People Success team. People enablement seeks to answer the questions: what people will we need, how will we train them, what will they need to succeed? As we plan for growth, the tools and talent needed to meet our goals must be part of the equation.

The Sr. People Success Manager, Enablement will act as a strategic and supportive partner for all employees throughout their journey at Algolia through the design and implementation of learning and development and onboarding programs. Focused on the growth and retention of all Algolians, the ideal candidate is proactive, consistently operates with a high attention to detail and strong collaborative and communication skills. This role will act as a ‘culture carrier’ and serve as a leader within the People team with a service mindset in support of all Algolians. 

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Lead and own the execution of a net new learning & development program to support Algolians at all levels to launch and grow their careers
  • Lead and own the execution of company-wide onboarding
  • Assist in the operationalization of Algolia’s remote-first workplace strategy
  • Ability to assess  data on the effectiveness of enablement programs and initiatives; provide recommendations to iterate programs based on employee feedback
  • Ability to act as a thought-leader on policies, procedures, and programs as it relates to organizational development and the overall employee experience.
  • Proactively enhance our culture and community with consistent communications and a service mindset
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Create a dynamic, purpose-driven workforce culture of the future that continues to support an increasingly distributed and remote international workforce through thoughtful communication and programming

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong background in learning & development 
  • Must have experience building out a program from net new
  • Managing an enterprise learning & development program
  • Strong analytical skills and systems thinking required
  • Experience as a people manager in a remote setting is a plus
  • Preference for candidates with experience at our current stage and beyond (over 10,000 customers, $50-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure).
