You are responsible for

This role will be part of the Commercial operations team in the NAR. This is a role that will be on the team that is directly responsible to drive the performance of our operations that support our ability to deliver to our customers and in turn impact the performance of Philips. This specific role will also include working directly with the VP of Commercial operations and be responsible for helping manager the performance of the organization. This role will focus on NAR level continuous improvement projects impacting the regions perform as it pertains to Comm Ops owned processes and the annual operating plan or Comm Ops NAR.

Project Management of Comm Ops MBR and assigned CI/Performance projects impacting NAR

  • Responsible for identifying and agreeing to the project objectives and formulating the project plan, in consultation w/ management & other stakeholders.
  • Organizes the internal and external resources to be used (quality, time, budget and information) and specifies the quality standard in the processes.
  • Defines the risks of the project and develops scenarios to overcome these risks.
  • Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, regarding content and organization; holds them accountable for deliverables
  • Responsible for implementation and realization according to the project plan in terms of quality, money, time, information, organization and final customer acceptance.
  • Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all change requests as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides a feedback loop on post-project execution. Provides Head of Comm Ops NAM project status dashboards and annual/quarterly/monthly timelines for projects and change/comms deliverables
  • Perform change impact analysis and localization creating transparency on change effort anticipating risks and road-blocks.
  • Assures Change Management Deliverables are delivered on time in full to enable a leader-led transformation, escalating when appropriate
  • Accelerate Transformation and enable knowledge sharing to assure change management, communication and learning needs are effectively addressed
  • Support Organizational readiness assuring a successful handover to standing organization during Continuous Improvement phase

Planning :

  • Project manage and provide analytics where needed for all spend and headcount planning activities tied to the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes for both budget and headcount for the commercial operations team
  • Work directly with the VP of Commercial operations to develop and deploy models that enable efficient understanding of our current status to our plan. Work directly with finance to ensure that the cost center structure, allocations, and set up reflect the needs to Commercial Operations. This may include directly accessing and working with the tools and people that are part of the finance areas of responsibility.
  • In close collaboration with Comm Ops LT, HR and finance, review inputs, identify critical changes, and ensure cross organizational alignment prior to submission.

Communication:

  • Manage Commercial Operations employee communications program development in partnership with the leadership team, our communications specialist and our HR partner. These include but are not limited to:
  • Culture activation
  • All Hands
  • All Manager Meetings

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5-8 years' experience in a matrixed org responsible for finance, supply chain, or sales operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven ability to develop models and provide insight. Must be comfortable with finance and accounting planning techniques and tools. Previous experience as a financial analyst in a corporate environments is ideal.
  • Mastery of excel & PowerPoint
  • Comfort and capability in developing and delivering executive level presentations.
  • Knowledge of Problem Solving Techniques, ideally including Philips Problem solving and Kaizen approaches
  • Comfort in driving a cross functional team of people to identify and suggest solutions or continuous improvement activities to complex problems.
  • Desire to explore various facets of commercial operations as a potential long term career.
