System Design and Architecture:
Design PI Vision Architecture: Develop and design the architecture for transitioning from Asset Framework (AF) to PI Vision, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Architect Data Models: Design data models within PI Vision to organize and contextualize operational data effectively, maintaining continuity and integrity during the transition.
Configuration and Implementation:
Configure PI Vision Components: Install, configure, and maintain PI Vision and ensure its integration with existing PI System components.
Migrate AF Data: Plan and execute the migration of data from PI Asset Framework to PI Vision, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
Data Integration and Management:
Develop Integrations: Integrate PI Vision with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, SCADA, DCS) to ensure seamless data flow and enhanced reporting capabilities.
Manage Data Quality: Implement data validation and cleansing processes within PI Vision to maintain high-quality, accurate, and reliable data.
Visualization and Reporting:
Create Advanced Visualizations: Design and develop advanced PI Vision displays and dashboards that provide enhanced reporting capabilities and meaningful insights to stakeholders.
Develop Automated Reports: Generate and automate reports using PI Vision and other relevant tools to meet enhanced reporting requirements.
System Optimization and Performance:
Optimize PI Vision Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of PI Vision, addressing any bottlenecks or performance issues.
Implement Best Practices: Apply industry best practices for data management, system configuration, and performance tuning within PI Vision.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the transition from AF to PI Vision.
Maintain System Health: Conduct regular health checks and preventive maintenance to ensure the continuous and optimal operation of PI Vision.
Project Participation:
Contribute to Transition Projects: Actively participate in projects focused on transitioning from PI Asset Framework to PI Vision, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop Project Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, migration plans, and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline). Advanced degrees or certifications related to the AVEVA PI System (OSI PI system) are preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with the OSI PI system within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Deep understanding of AVEVA PI -architecture, data modelling, and system configuration best practices.
- Proficiency in developing interfaces and integrating OSI PI with various data sources and systems.
- Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools, such as PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, and Microsoft Power BI.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate complex projects, manage timelines, and deliverables.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends.
