OHSEPR is the emergency management lead for Administration for Children and Families within US Dept of Health and Human Services. These teams must be able to quickly respond to incidents in response to emergency situations. 

Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a Sr. Planning Analyst in Washington, DC for this pending opportunity with ACF and HHS. The objective of this work is to provide support to All OHSEPR programs including the Disaster Human Services Case Management) DHSCM program, US Repatriation Program and COOP program.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing high-level administrative support for the OHSEPR leadership.
  • Performing administrative functions to assist OHSEPR Leadership and the OHSEPR Administrative Officers. 
  • Aiding in reviewing complex office materials, reviewing, and editing incoming documents, conducting research, training forms, time and attendance reports, and other reports. Assist in creating domestic and international travel arrangements for the Operations Division.
  • Planning for staff meetings and conferences; including gathering background materials, notifying participants, and coordinating facility selection and accompanying arrangements.
  • Assist and prepare memos, letters, invoice files, and other documents for review and filing.
  • Establishing and maintaining office records, processes, procedures, reference materials, SOP’s, and technical subject matter for filing.
  • Using various office automation hardware and software to prepare memoranda, letters, and reports in final form or in rough draft as requested by OPDIVs.
  • Providing a variety of assistance and guidance to subordinate support staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • An associate degree and a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate office activities.
  • Skill in operating computer hardware and software, phones, printers, copiers, and other office machines to carry out day to day work.
  • Skill in performing duties of receptionist for an office, aiding walk-ins, answering phones, directing calls, taking messages, and announcing arrivals.
  • Ability and professional skills to assist and communicate with internal and external executive and top management personnel respectfully and efficiently.
  • Skill in the use of Excel sufficiently to analyze information and produce reports.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess the ability to coordinate and efficiently accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Public Trust clearance is required
