Overview:

As a developer on the Continuous Delivery Platform team, you will be a key member of a team that acts as a force multiplier for Trend Micro Cloud One. Our team's mission is to accelerate the delivery of new services to production. We are building a world-class continuous deployment platform that delivers services to AWS regions around the globe.

You will:

• Work with a small team of technically sophisticated engineers who put developer experience first.
• Solve problems for fellow Trenders by understanding their needs and designing long-term solutions while carefully considering short-term paths to success for customers.
• Use both qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine priorities and measure effectiveness.
• Deliver practical, useful, and reliable tools and processes to other Trend teams.

You may be a good fit if:

• You have 4+ years of experience as a software developer.
• You are passionate about developer experience.
• You are results driven and pragmatic.
• You are curious and open to learning new technologies and best practices, and love to share that knowledge with others.
• You thrive in a collaborative and diverse environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• You are comfortable with at least 1 of the following languages: TypeScript, Go, Groovy, and are open to working with others.
• Knowledge of AWS services, including CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, or equivalent on other cloud providers will be an asset.
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines, Docker, and Splunk, is great, but not required.

You might work on:

• Changing how Trenders write, share, review, and merge code through education, automated tooling, new infrastructure, and new processes
• Constructing better tooling and metrics so that we, and our users, understand the health of our systems
• Performance engineering to make our builds as fast as possible and make sure they stay that way
