Sr. Platform Engineer (5105)

As Sr. Platform Engineer, you’ll provides subject matter expertise to the team and the customer for all things development with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

• Provide subject matter expertise, in regard to development, to the team and the customer
• Research, design, test, evaluate, and implement technologies related to Kubernetes, containerization and other infrastructures
• Work on the core platform to create and optimize all functions needed to establish a strong platform infrastructure
• Collaborates with the team and the customer daily

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer 
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD Automation
• A bachelor's degree and an active TS/SCI security clearance  
• Experience with software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go; as well as experience working in a DevSecOps environment.
• Experience working with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)
• Ability to work well on a team as well as individually
• Ability to work in downtown Washington, DC on client-site 5 days per week.
