Department Overview

The Enterprise Products organization is focused on designing and delivering communications solutions that empower businesses to work more efficiently and effectively. With the power of streamlined and reliable communications, employees can focus on the task at hand while security teams can be informed quickly to respond to incidents faster. Millions of customers depend every day on the devices or multimillion dollar networks we create that help to drive the communications at their school, manufacturing plant, hotel or distribution center.
The Portfolio Strategy team sits within our Enterprise Products organization and drives the overarching strategy for our enterprise communication products portfolio. This portfolio comprises network solutions, broadband devices & wearables, commercial and consumer radios, workflow applications, video security integrations and more. Our job is to uncover gaps in our portfolio, make sure that we are building products that meet product-market fit, identify (and size) new markets to expand our solutions into and ensure that we are staying ahead of the competition through competitive research and analysis.
Job Description

That’s where you come in. You will contribute to this strategy by executing on various projects that support strategic products or transformations within the portfolio. These projects may require you to:

  • Perform business modeling for new or existing solutions

  • Lead qualitative or quantitative research projects with customers and/or internal stakeholders

  • Synthesize complex ideas and present them concisely to senior leadership 

  • Grasp technical concepts and distill them down into a creative positioning statement to engage internal or external stakeholders 

  • Identify industry trends that may impact the existing portfolio and provide recommendations to the appropriate audiences

  • Seek out external partnerships that positively reinforce our product strategy

  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve the overall customer experience

  • Think out-side the box on how to solve problems without a clear roadmap

  • Collaborate across organizations, including product management, design, sales, corporate strategy, marketing, finance, orderability

Additional Experience

  • Product Management, Product Marketing, or Sales experience

  • Excel (we use google sheets) wizard and can quickly build financial models based on various inputs

  • Experience creating reports via Tableau

  • Experience working with SalesForce or similar programs

  • Industry knowledge in the Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics or Healthcare verticals

  • Technical knowledge of public cloud, broadband infrastructure, or radio standards

  • A desire to move into a product manager role one day


Basic Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years of related experience
