All about the role:
In this role you will be reporting to the Pricing Office Director for Electrolux Major Appliances NA and will be based in Charlotte, NC. The Sr. Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing the framework, structure, governance, and supporting technology for Electrolux Major Appliances, North America Business Area. The pricing function is critical to deliver on the business area target of achieving pricing excellence and profitable growth.
What you'll do:
In this role you will collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Marketing and Merchandising to set the pricing strategy, identify areas of opportunity, and monitor pricing performance. You will also own the end-to-end pricing process within the business area. You will continue to develop new and improved capabilities to execute on price. You will analyze transaction data and identify opportunities to improve profitability in existing markets/product lines as well as new markets/product lines, setting targets, and guardrails. You will partner with our Commercial Finance division to evaluate, summarize, and propose action plans by price tacking channels. Additionally you will development management reporting on price, volume, mix and price waterfall for all customer channels to create visibility on issues in order to drive top line improvement
Other responsibilities may include:
- Analyze root causes and solve pricing problems
- Maintain ongoing reports that analyze and communicate actual price performance and highlights the implications of business decisions
- Ad hoc profitability analysis of specific products and initiatives
- Support the pricing set-up (price waterfall) for all products in the Electrolux product portfolio for each channel that is authorized to sell this set of products.
- Support the implementation of an analytical pricing tool
- Support the Integrated Business Planning process
- Provide regular pricing analysis to support monthly financial reporting
- Meet with all internal customers and sales teams face to face and promote company pricing strategy and governance as needed, maintaining a customer service attitude.
- Provide pricing training to the organization when needed.
- Provides business leadership with the goal of continuous process improvement
Who you are:
You are comfortable working in SAP, Power BI, and pricing specific software (PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, etc). You posses a working knowledge and experience in pricing concepts such as margin/revenue walks (price, volume, mix), price waterfall, value-based pricing, and reward based pricing. You create data visualizations to uncover and highlight pricing opportunities using Tableau or similar tools. You are comfortable translating and presenting complex information to stakeholders to form action plans.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance
