Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Sr Director, Enterprise Optimization & Strategy for the Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) Segment, the Sr. Principal, Enterprise Optimization & Strategy will (i) drive strategic projects and initiatives that are critical to enable and/or deliver upon IMS business efficiency; and (ii) maintain the overall optimization blueprint and tracker. The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and business analytics. This role provides problem-solving leadership, conducts analysis and research, develops recommendations, and communicates well-articulated conclusions verbally and through written presentation material to the leadership team.

Essential Duties:

• Collect and analyze information to assess ambiguous problems
• Develop and test associated hypotheses
• Generate solution options with related business modeling and implementation plan development
• Formulate recommendations with supporting logic and data
• Create compelling executive-level presentations to inform and facilitate leadership decision-making, translating complex technical and business information into compelling and crisp messages
• Monitor the progress of strategy and optimization implementation across the segment while adjusting as necessary to achieve desired outcomes
• Form and collaboratively drive project plans across sectors and functions
• Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders
• Other items as directed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
• Prior consulting experience, with a proven track record of delivering results within a matrix organization

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with mature ability to interpret complex data, leveraging experience with data analysis tools, methodologies
• Collaborative, team-player
• Able to take direction with minimal supervision, executing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills
• Ability to effectively influence and make recommendations at all levels
• Must be a US Citizen, as must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

• MBA
