Job Description:

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) is looking for a self-motivated and disciplined individual to join the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) as the GTF-Advantage Fan CIPT Model Manager. The GTF-A Fan CIPT Model Manager will guide the team through development engine testing, certification, production readiness, and into revenue service.

The model manager is a critical leadership role within the CIPT. This individual must be able to coordinate functional requirements from the program office, various engineering disciplines such as aerodynamics, mechanical design, systems, structures as well as manufacturing & assembly. They must be capable of the challenging technical and producibility requirements for the module. The model manager will be focused primarily on providing direction and prioritization for the various IPT's supporting the GTF-A program, based on input from the CIPT Leader, Module Integrated Product Team (MIPT), System Integrated Product Team (SIPT), Engine Design and System Integration Team (EDSIT), and all other levels of internal and external customers.

Qualified candidates need to be technically competent, communicate effectively upwards and downwards, and coordinate between a diverse team of individuals. The CIPT model manager should be customer focused to ensure that the team meets the demands of the GTF-A program office. This role is a challenging and rewarding career development or broadening opportunity for the right individual. This critical position should be viewed as a steppingstone to future larger leadership roles, such as CIPT Leader and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and improve upon the Leadership Operating Model across CSE to meet program objectives

• Empower and grow the CIPT members

• Ensure CIPT & CSE strategies are created and executed on time

• Implement Agile & CORE within the CIPT

• Work seamlessly with our JAEC partner, while ensuring to protect PWA IP

• Collaborate within the other GTF-A CIPTs

• Meet E&D budget / PV0

• Manage CIPT priorities

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree in Engineering

• 10+ years of engineering experience or 7+ years with an advance degree

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters' Degree/MBA in a related field and 10+ years of experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion

• Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management

• Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g., FMEA, FMECAs, ESW, CORE Operating System)

• Knowledge and experience working within SAP
