JOB SUMMARY:
We're looking for a Senior Producer to lead our agency services production team across all accounts. A member of the creative leadership team, this person is expected to manage and maintain the greater process for production requests and development in coordination with creative and business leads.
This position would provide support for every client on all content production requests, as well as scoping production costs and services for prospective clients and project-based assignments. Namely video, audio, and print requests for traditional mediums such as broadcast, social, and print, but also special projects consisting of influencer content and experiential activations.
They would provide leadership in sourcing, vetting, and bidding third party creative partners for projects, as well as managing production timelines, budgets, and resources for all content production needs.
Additionally, they work closely with Creative, Account, Media and Finance, upstream to ensure that we're concepting strategically to solve client problems creatively, while being stewards of client budgets and timing.
While most of the work will consist of standard production, we will be producing some work in-house. So, knowledge of line-production and costing of resources will be advantageous.

This role can be hybrid as part of our Detroit office.
*While our offices are currently open, daily in-office attendance is not required.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with creative and account leadership to develop production budgets, timelines, and post-production workflows
  • Manage project workload, revisions, and approvals
  • Collaborate agency colleagues on in-house production capabilities
  • Mentor and help up-skill department team
  • The Sr. Producer will be responsible for leading and delivering a variety of content-types
  • Video (Social/Digital, TV broadcast, PR livestream)
  • Stills (Social/Digital, PR, OOH/DOOH, Trade)
  • Radio
  • Integrated Production
  • Work closely with business manager to generate ballpark budgets and final estimates for client production requests.
  • Work with talent vendors for casting and negotiations.
  • Create and maintain relationships with production and post production vendors on behalf of the agency.
  • Gather materials for Pre-Production Book be able to run a Pre-Production Meeting
  • Know how to effectively manage a shoot - both on location and in a studio setting
  • Proactively manage production budgets and schedules and be able to effectively communicate any cost-related issues or schedule-related issues that arise.
  • Communicate openly and effectively with creative teams and account teams to create a smooth system of collaboration and executional excellence.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
  • BA/BS Required
  • 6+ years of Sr. Producer or Producer experience (agency and/or production company)
  • Strong knowledge of AICP budget format
  • Proficient in Hot Budget (or similar budgeting platform), Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sufficient experience producing with a range of budgets from small to > $200K
  • Sufficient experience with working on union and non-union projects
  • Experience managing projects from concept kick-off to delivery
  • Experience negotiating rates for external partners and content usage licensing
  • Extensive knowledge project closing: payroll, actualizing
  • Experience hiring and managing freelance support
  • Knowledge of production equipment and general set etiquette
  • Ability to travel regularly - sometimes on short notice
  • Healthy network of production and vendor partners
  • Comfortable managing multiple productions at different stages simultaneously
  • Passionate about collaboration with independence to own smaller projects
  • Flexibility with various working styles based on the specific needs of a project
  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with brand clients
  • Have in-depth knowledge on details of each project which could include but are not limited to - music licenses, talent use, print use, final file deliverables, final scripts, ADID codes, and traffic lead time for each deliverable.
  • Basic understanding of trafficking and shipping spots to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Very organized
  • Team player with strong work ethic and personal accountability
  • Advertising or Marketing degree a plus

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $90,000.00 to $140,000.00. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
