Reporting to the Product Line Manager, the Sr. Product Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. The Sr. Product Analyst will identify gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner. This role may lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues and be client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and Outsourcing functions and may include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.

To be qualified for this position, you:
  • 2-3 years related experience in a technology field (clinical information exchange) and/or health care environment (vendor or group/hospital experience).
  • Have experience working in FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources)Experience with SOAP UI, Postman or equivalent software
  • Interface mapping (e.g. source to target)
  • Experience working within an agile team (developers, QA)

What you will be doing:
  • Becoming fluent in FHIR and specific HL7 Da Vinci Implementation Guides (IG).
  • Configuring system settings and options; planning and executing unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements.
  • Designing details of automated systems and providing consultation to users.
  • As required for assigned projects, defining mappings between FHIR and the requirements of other systems (Availity systems, x12 standards, HL7, etc.).
  • Organizing and managing documentation including internal FHIR team documentation (Confluence and Teams channel) and client-facing documentation (supporting the Product Owner and tech writer).
  • Defining requirements and creating JIRA stories for assigned project components.
  • Reviewing test cases and participating in internal testing as well as testing with clients.
  • Assisting with internal and external (client) reporting, establishing process(es) for on-going monitoring of applications that are in production.
