Job Purpose
You'll be a part of a team that is changing the world of Open Finance. You'll get to immerse yourself in the world of financial data connections between financial institutions, intermediaries (like MX!) and fintechs. We are on a mission to connect all of these pieces together in a simple, intuitive experience where clients and developers can easily enable MX products and immediately provide benefits to their customers.

Remote/Flex:
At MX, we offer a flexible working environment that trusts each employee to work with their manager to create the right environment for them to be successful. In this role, employees will have the ability to work remotely in a home office setting anywhere throughout the United States or at the MX office in Lehi, Utah.

Job Purpose
You'll be a part of a team that is changing the world of Open Finance. You'll get to immerse yourself in the world of financial data connections between financial institutions, intermediaries (like MX!) and fintechs. We are on a mission to connect all of these pieces together in a simple, intuitive experience where clients and developers can easily enable MX products and immediately provide benefits to their customers.
What you'll get to do:
- Strategize with product managers, developers and writers to determine high level vision, strategy and goals of developer focused products
- Drive research efforts and prioritize customer insights using research best practices
- Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts for validation.
- Provide design direction and feedback to other designers on the team
- Mentor and guide other designers. Lead by example and help them grow and develop.
- Contribute to and positively shape the design team's culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration.
You'll do it using your:
- 6+ years relevant experience designing digital products and systems.
- Experience owning product design strategy from start to finish.
- Lead and contribute visual and technical direction for our design system.
- Ability to impact both user and business goals.
- You can support multiple teams and balance big picture thinking with execution work.
- Bonus: You have experience in fintech and/or have a developer background
