Sr. Product Graphic Designer

Job Description

Position Summary: Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating original graphic artwork that reflects the brands image yet continues to establish our company as a leader within the action sports industry. Candidate must be able to produce original artwork and concepts in multiple style and mediums. The senior graphic artist will be key in influencing other junior graphic designer and setting the tone leading through example.

This position reports to the Design Director and is hybrid position that allows you the flexibility to work remote on Monday and Friday and in the Irvine, CA headquarters, Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday.

Essential Functions of this Position:

• Develop bold new, emerging graphics and enhance existing concepts. Lead through example and set the tone for junior graphic designers.
• Work with the Irvine's cut and sew design team to meet the needs they have yet tie the look to the total vision that is set for the season at hand.
• Develop art for printables as well as all cut and sew styles, creating a cohesive look to the line.
• Adhere to Sportswear Product Development timelines and meet all deadlines.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects, across several categories, within the set timeline and meeting the standards set by Management.
• Assist with creating and presenting seasonal Vibe presentations for inspiration and direction for Design Departments. Including graphics, photographs, slogans and phrases, etc.
• Design and work on SMU (Special Make Up) product that meets specific directional goals and schedule set by high-level key accounts.
• Set as well as work with creative standards set by Management.
• Supply accurate/complete Design Packs to the Product Development on schedule.
• Follow up with vendors on approvals for counter and production samples. Work with production team in Newport Beach to review strike offs and make recommendation for corrections.

Experience and Skill required:

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong illustration skills with ability to create graphic concept free hand as well as on the computer.
• Thorough knowledge of printing techniques and understanding of how graphics will translate onto a printable garment.
• Ability to work with multiple personalities in a diverse environment creating a team atmosphere.
• Must have exceptional ability to manage time professionally and execute ideas from initial concept to completion.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range:

$80,700.00 - $126,300.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
