Tasks and Qualifications:

As a Software Product Manager, you will act as a conduit between customers, stakeholders, and our software Research & Development team. You will explore and develop product ideas, whether through direct voice of customer interviews, competitor analysis or implementing strategic vision. You will work with customers to understand their needs and have the technical skills to work with development engineers to deliver requirements.

This role is responsible for discovering and developing warehouse and distribution center optimization and decision support requirements for our control tower software. Discovery of the best use cases requires engaging with our customers to define and test hypothesis, gauging value creation and iteration.

As a Control Tower evangelist, this role is for someone who shares a passion for working with customers, technology and delivering operational value through software. You will need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to work at both a user and technical level and have a strong focus on outcomes.

Control Tower Market Requirements

• Identify opportunities, build product strategic vision, roadmap, and strategy
• Understand the overall market and competitor landscape
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and software Research & Development team to understand needs and drive priorities
• Translate voice of customer feedback into Control Tower use cases and product requirements

Control Tower Development

• Collaborate with our software Research & Development team to guide Control Tower capability development and prioritization
• Evaluate opportunities for accelerating capabilities to market
• Be the voice of customer during development on delivering a quality output that meets market requirements

Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of Software Product Management or Warehouse Operations leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in warehousing or distribution setting and experience with corresponding metrics and key performance indicators.
• Pragmatic Marketing certification a plus
• Highly software-oriented mindset, cloud software experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting to customers and executives.
• International business experience is an asset
• Ability to travel 15% to Dematic and customer sites internationally
