Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at Authorium, you will be a strategic partner to our CEO and Head of Product in shaping our product offerings. Given our early stage, you will be a key part of creating our product strategy and building business value. Your expertise in product management will guide the direction of our product through innovative, user-centered solutions that resonate with our diverse user base.

You will work closely with a small but mighty team of product managers to own and deliver on our product roadmap. We operate in close connection with our engineering, QA and CS teams and occasionally youโ€™ll need to step across the line to support our teammates where needed in order to achieve our goals.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and execute impactful product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead the definition and execution of a product roadmap that supports complex document-centric workflows (e.g., approval flows, document authoring, etc.).
  • Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured and identify opportunities for creating value.
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Write high-quality user stories using an agile approach, reflecting our product principles (e.g., generalized solutions, simplifying complexity, etc.) and the direction of our platform.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success.
  • Prioritize user experience and accessibility in product design and development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to enable the sales pipeline for launch and support post-launch activation, retention, and upsell.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features, from concept through launch.
Requirements

What weโ€™re looking for:

In general, Senior Product Managers need to have a diverse skill set. This role will require some proficiency across the board, but the top 2 skill areas weโ€™re looking for are:

  1. Experience in Product Management: You should have a strong background in managing products through their entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.ย
  2. Flexibility and strategic Thinking: Youโ€™ll need to think strategically about our product roadmap and make practical decisions that deliver on our key objectives as well as align with our long-term goals. This includes prioritizing features, balancing short-term and long-term objectives, and making data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role, ideally with a SaaS-based enterprise software company in a regulated industry.
  • Passion for building great products, innovation, and solving complex customer problems.
  • Superior strategic and analytical skills with the ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations.
  • Customer-driven, with both a holistic view and the capability to execute strategies and operationalize plans.
  • Experience serving as a product owner for a scrum team, managing scrum ceremonies, and educating the team on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions.
  • A bias for action and rapid experimentation, with a proven track record of delivering results at scale that impact critical business metrics.
  • Experience in matrixed organizations, with the ability to drive results through collaboration and influence.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science, or a related technical discipline preferred but not required (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and standards such as FedRAMP, WCAG is a plus.
