The Senior Product Manager, Card Experience champions the requirements of our customers who use our expense management products. This position is a member of the product management team and is responsible for ensuring that our customers can trust us to facilitate decentralized organizational spend. Our customers need offerings that fit their current business needs and scale with them as they grow. Creating a curated, set of experiences and features that are easy for users to understand, use, and manage will be the primary outcome for this role. The Senior Product Manager, Card Experience will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and Customer Success Managers to build a world-class feature set that engenders trust with our professional controllers and delights their employee spenders. This individual must possess good communication skills, deep domain expertise, and a strong passion for accuracy and attention to detail.
Your performance objectives will consist of:
- Build a product strategy and scalable roadmap that enables Finance Admins to empower their employees with company funds
- Participate actively in product strategy and execution - is a vocal member of the the week-to-week requirements grooming process, and is also a driving force in long term product planning to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of of the platform
- Drive the cash out platform requirements including, but not limited to modernizing, re-imagining, and defining entirely new ways of facilitating organizational card spend
- Oversee a ruthlessly prioritized backlog for the development team, driving towards a well-defined vision and specific outcomes, goals, and metrics expressed through the roadmap
- Write detailed, accurate specs for new features to enhance this new feature area of the product and win new customers
- Advocate a holistic approach to triaging and resolving product issues that will have the greatest business and customer impact.
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 5+ years of of product management or related professional experience in the software industry or financial / fintech industry
- Experience building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, drive product development with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-impact experiences--quickly
- Solid track record of successfully launching new products/features in an agile development environment based on partner unmet needs and customer requirements
- Act as a team player and build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and leaders to ensure alignment on the roadmap, requirements, and prioritization
- Discover insights from customers, data, research, and industry trends and convert them into a compelling controls platform for our controllers and spenders
- Hyper attention to detail in order to guarantee quality and to be the resident subject matter expert for control requirements
- Use data and analytics to weave in both quantitative and qualitative inputs in order to propose hypotheses to test and learn
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to garner stakeholder alignment across peers and leadership
- A positive and entrepreneurial mindset; self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve
