Job Summary
The Sr. Digital Product Manager will play a key role in planning and executing Papa Johns' digital customer experience strategies to exceed our business and Brand goals. This individual will serve as the voice of the customer and function as the conduit between business goals and technology execution for the products they lead, including papajohns.com, and native iOS and Android apps.
This individual should be a customer-first advocate who will serve as a liaison across the varying Marketing & Digital functions to ensure a best-in-class experience across each point of the digital customer journey. Responsibilities include product strategy, release-level feature choices, economic rationale for every major effort and whole-product thinking. He/she will maintain a holistic view of our digital products in the context of the broader Papa Johns business model and must work comfortably with cross-functional stakeholders to create and prioritize the Product roadmap.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
- Lead the product vision to deliver best-in-class, end-to-end digital experiences, including Papa Johns' ecommerce website and iOS and Android apps
- Be the expert in and champion customer needs, developing customer journey maps in partnership with UX and Consumer Insights teams
- Define key business metrics and objectives, and deliver meaningful quarterly results via an OKR framework
- Facilitate and drive planning, strategy and roadmap alignment with Enterprise Architects, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and Business Owners across the company
- Communicate and present progress, obstacles, and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Guide a team of web and app product owners on Agile product management best practices
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights and Data Science teams to identify product opportunities
- Incorporate customer feedback, competitive analysis, market trends, and team input to continuously improve products and user experiences
- Partner with Digital Insights & Testing and UX teams to prototype new features, and measure and validate for implementation
- Work with QA, SRE and release management teams to protect product KPIs throughout the development and release pipeline
Education, Experience & Certifications
- B.S. or B.A in Business, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years experience working as a Product Manager with leading enterprise B2C ecommerce companies
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing, CS, Operations, or a focus in digital experience or related field
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum and SAFe framework preferred
- Proven understanding of digital technology and applying solutions to business strategy
- Ability to translate and articulate business needs into software requirements/User Stories
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of software development process
- Agile process experience in organizing and guiding teams to succeed
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic and flexible environment
