Sr. Product Manager - Solutions

What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is looking for a Sr. Product Manager responsible for delivering industry leading monitoring solutions around Microsoft products. Although we are focused on Microsoft experience for this role, experience with other leading vendors products in any of the following technologies will be considered:

• Cloud, Storage, Applications, Databases, Data Center, Network

These monitoring solutions are built upon ScienceLogic’s IT Operations Management platform.

The Sr. Product Manager will engage closely with engineers and data center managers at current and prospective customers in gathering requirements and recommending best practices for SL1 deployments in the above technologies.

The Sr. Product Manager will be an evangelist for the product, both inside and outside of ScienceLogic, and be able to clearly articulate benefits of the solution.

What you’ll be doing…

• Be the solution expert and go-to person.
• Define the business opportunity for the solution to help prioritize and understand the competitive landscape.
• Have a passion for new technologies.
• Gather and analyze requirements from internal and external market sources creating user stories and driving and supporting the engineering team(s).
• Work with sales teams to help sell the product and provide guidance.
• Develop videos and support marketing for the solution.
• Be an active contributor to ScienceLogic product strategy and roadmap for ScienceLogic’s IT Operations Management platform.
• Able to quickly learn new technologies.

Qualities you possess…

• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in areas such as: Microsoft Windows, Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, storage, Kubernetes, Databases, APM, Networking, VMWare with service provider or large enterprise.
• Minimum 2 year’s experience as Product Manager/Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Familiar with management protocols (REST based APIs, PowerShell, WMI, SNMP, SOAP, OpenAPI)
• Experience with Monitoring platforms preferred
• Experience with Jira (cloud), Confluence
• "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial attitude
• Natural ability to relate to developers, customers, and prospects
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
• Excellent teamwork skills across all disciplines in the company (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, QA, etc)
