Sr. Product Manager - Visualizations & Insights

What we’re looking for…

We're looking for a senior product manager to drive the discovery, planning, and execution of data visualization and insights across our product portfolio. In this role, you are part of the Product pillar that owns our platform's “One UI.” You guide two cross-functional teams of engineers and designers. You collaborate with Product leadership, peer product managers, Engineering leadership, Marketing, Sales, and Support. You report to a Senior Director of Product Management.

What you’ll be doing…

• Uncover customer needs, pain points, and JTBD. Envision high-value solutions. Research markets, persona, and competition. Partner with UX to build a coherent design system. Validate findings.
• Define product strategy for visualizations. Articulate business outcomes and success metrics. Write business cases, requirements, epics, and stories. Prioritize features. Build our visualization roadmap.
• Act as product owner for your teams. Practice SAFe Agile. Ship frameworks, components, and widgets that allow customers to effectively interact with data and insights. Enable customer workflows, insights, and outcomes. Measure KPI.
• Establish visualization standards across our platform, product offerings, and ecosystem. Evangelize data visualization, internally and externally. Mentor and coach fellow PM.

Qualities you possess…

• PM experience. You have five to seven years as a product manager. You worked on SaaS or enterprise products, all in an Agile environment.
• Experience with data reporting, data platforms, and data design. You have four years of working on the visualization, presentation, or reporting services of a complex platform. You understand modern data ingestion, transformation, and presentation. You are passionate about information architecture, data visualization and data design.
• An understanding of insights and analytics. You have analytics skills. You solved important business problems by delivering data-driven insights. You connected insights to business outcomes.
• Strong technical education. You have a bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, etc.) or, even better, a similar master's degree.
• Right soft skills. You embody our values of bold, empowered, nerdy, wow! customer outcomes, and belief that you matter. You are hands on, a team builder, and a collaborator.  You excel at verbal and written communications.
