Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Planet DDS is the leading provider of cloud-enabled dental software solutions serving over 10,000 practices in North America with over 60,000 users. The company delivers a complete platform of solutions for dental practices including Denticon Practice Management, Apteryx XVWeb Digital Imaging, Cloud 9 Practice Management (for Orthodontist practices) and Legwork Patient Relationship Management. Planet DDS is committed to creating value for its dental practice clients by solving the most urgent challenges facing todayβs dental practices in North America.
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager with previous B2B SaaS experience to join our amazing marketing team. Reporting to VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for translating product features into customer benefits, defining our go-to-market strategies, creating engaging messaging, and supporting various marketing and product initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Growth, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure that our products meet the needs of our target customers and remain competitive in the market.
This role is hybrid working 2-3x per week out of our Newport Beach, CA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft compelling product narratives and value propositions that resonate with prospective customers and partners.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and major updates, considering target audiences, competitive analysis, and market trends.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to develop messaging and effectively position Planet DDS solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Content and Sales teams to help develop effective enablement materials, including pitch decks, battle cards, videos, and training resources.
- Lead successful product and feature launches, coordinating activities across marketing, sales, and product teams to generate awareness and drive growth.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Stay up to date with the dental market landscape, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings within our industry.
- Engage and speak with Planet DDS customers to gain a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Deliver market insights to Product as an input to the roadmap, participate in roadmap prioritization.
- Participate in pricing and packaging strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, with at least 1 year at a senior level.
- Demonstrated success in developing and driving GTM strategy.
- Have successfully managed product releases.
- Great writer and thinker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of B2B products, trends, and customer pain points.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging.
- You are a data-informed creative thinker with an affinity for a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to speak the language of product teams and marketing/sales teams fluently, shifting context with ease.
- Skilled storyteller with a strong point of view.

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
