Team Description

The Pendo Product Marketing team tells the story of Pendo products. Each PMM is responsible for the positioning, story, and general GTM support of the product(s) they own. Product Marketing is an extremely cross-functional role. Part of the marketing team we partner closely with Product, ProdOps, Marketing, Sales, and more.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Work with Product and cross-functional teams to position Pendo products
  • Create and maintain product and solutions and messaging
  • Research, define, and enable teams on ideal customer for your products or solutions
  • Turn technical features into narratives that can be easily understood by internal and external audiences
  • Determine product launch motions and coordinate go-to-market strategy across departments
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cross-functional alignment around new product initiatives and releases
  • Develop value-oriented content for and enable marketing, sales, customer success teams
  • Research market opportunities and create targeted messaging and content aligned with priority target personas and industry verticals
  • Develop and deliver content for webinars, events, and speaking opportunities
  • Contribute to competitive intelligence, pricing, and enablement programs

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of direct B2B SaaS Product Marketing experience
  • Data-informed, creative thinker with an affinity for a fast-paced work environment
  • Skill and energy to deliver high quality tactical marketing work on tight deadlines
  • Experience in managing projects that have short deadlines, cross-functional, dependencies, and competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Great writer and thinker; exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected base salary range for this role in the following locations is:

Raleigh, NC - USD $100,000 - $125,000

San Francisco Bay Area, CA - USD $115,000 - $144,000

New York City, NY - USD $105,000 - $131,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
