Job title: Product Marketing Manager - Cloud Communications 

This position can be located near one of our Vonage locations: Holmdel, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; OR in London or Basingstoke (UK).

Vonage is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute the product marketing plan and related GTM deliverables for strategic communications service providers (CSPs) and application service providers (ASPs) that tie into Vonage sales and marketing strategies critical to revenue growth. This includes developing use cases and building business models that help bring our cloud communications solutions to life, while driving clarity around the value Vonage solutions bring to our prospective partners.  

Vonage is a leading provider of cloud communications (including UCaaS, CCaaS and Communications APIs), a market that is growing at a 16% CAGR and expected to reach $73B by 2025. We’re looking for a candidate with 5+ years of hands-on product marketing experience who can develop go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging and content to drive awareness, adoption and growth for Vonage offerings amongst CSPs and ASPs. 

As the Product Marketing Manager - Cloud Communications Resales, you’ll play an important role in shaping Vonage’s partner go-to-market strategy and clearly articulating how we help our partners build their businesses and solve their customers’ communications challenges. In close collaboration with Product, Marketing and Partner Sales organizations, this role has accountability for a data-driven, partner product marketing strategy focused on increasing pipeline and revenue growth via sell-through tactics. 

What you will do:

  • Become the expert in CSP and ASP-related marketing strategies and identify ways to broaden the impact Vonage’s portfolio of offerings can have on their growth, while increasing pipeline and revenue growth via sell-through tactics
  • Work with other companies to create co-brand solutions
  • Own the development of audience insights, positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy to expand resale adoption by CSPs and ASPs
  • Develop use cases and build business models that help bring our cloud communications solutions to life
  • Work closely with product management to understand our offers and roadmaps as they pertain to resale by CSPs and ASPs
  • Build clear and compelling value props that clearly articulate how Vonage solutions bring value to prospective partners, using the language of the partner ecosystem and their customers, and in alignment with Vonage strategy
  • Drive the GTM strategy and identify the highest value opportunities, while working with product, alliances, sales and the marketing teams to penetrate resale targets
  • Support Vonage Sales Enablement with meaningful content, sales tools and training that position our portfolio successfully toward target customers while helping partner sellers engage effectively in the market 
  • Analyze general industry and technology trends/ preferences and incorporate that knowledge to continuously refine messaging, positioning and marketing strategies 
  • Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape to ensure the team communicates key differentiators of our offers and identify opportunities for future growth

What you will bring

  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience in go-to-market planning and traditional product marketing planning and execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally effectively.
  • A track record of partnering successfully with marketing teams on campaigns and plans.
  • The ability to work virtually with teams spread across North America and EMEA.
  • The flexibility to quickly reprioritize your work if required, while maintaining a long-term perspective on department and company objectives.
  • You are a self starter with an inclusive mindset

What’s required for application

  • 5+ years of Software/SaaS/PaaS marketing experience, ideally with a focus on communication technologies (UCaaS, CCaaS, Communications APIs); Partner/ channel experience is a plus 
  • Experience working with technology products that are resold as service offerings is a significant plus
  • Track record working collaboratively and across multiple teams and projects to take new products and features to the market
  • Strong technical literacy with ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
