Senior Product Owner - Order Orchestration
Position Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Product Owner - Order Orchestration to join the IT Supply Chain Solutions team. This Product Owner's role and function will help to build the next generation of Enterprise Inventory Solutions for Ferguson. Working with a highly talented team, you'll play a key role to design, build, and deliver technology solutions that bring business value through order orchestration, sourcing, and fulfillment capabilities. The Product Owner is responsible for assessing business needs and working with cross-functional product teams to find the most effective way to achieve value around those needs. The role focuses on delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Product Owners work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners.
** This position may be remote within the United States or hybrid near Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy. **
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes, strategy, and relationships to identify and deliver solutions that provide value for the business.
- Define and maintain a Product Roadmap and Backlog for Supply Chain and the Technologies that support its success.
- Conduct research and discovery to present new technologies and features that drive business value.
- Manage key decisions, risks, and mitigations needed to deliver solutions and achieve the return on investment within the budget and timeframe provided.
- Build, track, and communicate key metrics on the purpose and value of the solutions delivered.
- Develop, build, and lead a multi-functional team to develop and deliver solutions to the agreed timelines using SDLC methodologies.
- Serve as a liaison between the business and technical functions; acting to clarify communication, set expectations, and align priorities to achieve the business goals.
- Gather and analyze feedback from collaborators and other teams to shape requirements, features, and products.
- Manage and prioritize a continuous stream of value-delivering work.
- Build plans to manage existing solutions to service, compliance, and disaster recovery expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Science, Technology, or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 7+ years of experience in a technical product management within Supply Chain solutions.
- Product Owner experience with Order Orchestration and Management solutions, including solutions used for Customer Promising & Scheduling (e.g. ATP), Order Orchestration, and Fulfillment sourcing, method, and optimization. Our current environment uses Manhattan Active Omni order orchestration.
- Experience leading a multi-functional team in the delivery of enterprise level solutions for a large business. Experience within the distribution industry is a plus.
- Experience implementing and managing a technology solution for supply chain planning, including handling the solution provider, system implementers, and consultants within the terms of a contract and statement of work for implementation of a solution.
- Experience presenting and communicating with executive leadership on solutions products and services, impact to business, and value of the solution.
- Ability to travel 15-20%, on average, based on the product lifecycle and key milestones for the solutions.

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$6,805.95 - $11,921.25
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
