Sr. Product Policy Specialist, Revenue

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, and Safety to identify risks in new visible and invisible product changes and work with those teams to build mitigations into the product design. 
• Build and maintain knowledge about Discord’s products, internal tools, and infrastructure.
• Create frameworks and product policies in support of building Discord responsibly and ethically.
• Work closely with Platform Policy and Trust & Safety to evaluate the policy and enforcement impacts on new product changes and scope the necessary requirements to support those teams. 
• Support the development of responsible product development content, such as training, guides, talking points, strategies, and presentations, for engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• Write user-facing communications to explain our products and safety features through blog posts, Help Center Articles, and other resources.
• Potential exposure to sensitive or graphic content, including but not limited to vulgar language, violent threats, pornography and other graphic images.

• Experience working on relevant issues, such as research, or specialization from a non-profit, community organization, game company, or tech company:
• Creator revenue or creator economies;
• Ecommerce;
• Apps and game stores
• Experience in working cross functionally with Product and Safety teams
• Experience in writing product policies that handle product governance, responsible design, ethical ML, or 
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with project and/or program management
• Passion for supporting both your team and our users
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attitude of open-mindedness, collaboration, flexibility, and always questioning your assumptions. 

• Familiarity with Discord
• Experience in international monetization issues 
• Experience working with or developing products for teen creators and developers
• Multilingual
