Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead the integration of bioinformatics tools and resources into our product offerings to enhance functionality and user experience.

- Collaborate with R&D teams to understand requirements and translate them into product features. - Analyze and interpret complex biological data providing insights that will guide product development.

- Ensure the reliability and scalability of bioinformatics algorithms implemented in our products.

- Stay abreast of the latest developments in bioinformatics R&D preclinical and clinical domains to inform product strategy.

- Work closely with the software development team to ensure accurate implementation of bioinformatics algorithms.

- Provide expert advice and support to customers helping them to effectively use our products in their research.

- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new opportunities for product innovation.

- Participate in scientific conferences and workshops representing the company and gathering insights to inform product development.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to our products in the clinical and preclinical domains.

- Qualifications

- Must have a strong foundation in bioinformatics with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

- Proven track record in R&D preclinical and clinical domains with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these areas.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex biological data.

- Strong communication skills capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with customers.

- Experience in product management or development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.

- A proactive approach to staying informed about the latest industry trends and technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The hourly rate for this position is between $98100 – $115800 annually depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
