Job Description:
The Segment Marketing role will sit within the Insurance marketing team at CoreLogic, reporting to the head of marketing. The Segment Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the segment in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The candidate will use market and customer research, competitive intelligence and an in-depth analysis of industry/segment trends to develop effective and actionable marketing strategies and programs for one of CoreLogic's Insurance segments. The candidate will collaborate with product management and sales to turn roadmaps into client centric propositions inclusive of product marketing and mapping entire customer journey to take our audience through the sales cycle from awareness to lead generation. The candidate is knowledgeable and experienced in B2B and in building marketing strategies and programs to deliver on business objectives. Also, an excellent communicator able to establish and measure marketing KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being a dynamic leader, strategic thought leader, cross-functional collaborator, and influential communicator, as well as the ability to establish structure and process. This position will be responsible for intimately understanding our customer base. knowing how to acquire new customers while deepening the relationships with existing customers and turning them into brand evangelists. Our ideal candidate is motivated by hitting and exceeding aggressive acquisition goals.
Job Qualifications:
- Define, structure and drive our growth and engagement strategy and execution, including developing account targeting and market segmentation working with sales/marketing/product/exec leadership to build effective lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Develop marketing strategies to support the goals of the insurance segment ensuring strategy is understood and executed throughout the team.
- Set attainable goals, clear direction, and lead day-to-day priorities, workflow, and quality for the design, content marketing, demand generation, and product marketing efforts.
- Execute & measure account-based campaigns on quarterly basis and drive creative brief and key messaging that guides content creation and future-customer experience for acquisition plays.
- Work closely with customer success and account management teams to align and support retention/expansion plays.
- Design and implement frameworks to measure the impact of marketing initiatives, with a focus on customer value.
- Own messaging in partnership with Product Management and Sales to stay ahead of market trends, create a constant feedback loop with our customer's needs and establish differentiated market positioning.
- Develop conference & event strategy while developing marketing programs that support brand initiatives and messaging across a variety of digital and traditional touchpoints including but not limited to the website, e-mails, newsletters, and paid media campaigns.
- Content writing and content producing.
- Influential communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter, proactive, ability to prioritize and shift focus with ease and flexibility.
- Equal parts analytical and creative with a focus on data and financials along with the ability to drive creative, differentiated marketing strategies.
- Team player possessing a strong work ethic and drive for results with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity to understand customer needs and motivations.
- Analyze and leverage industry research and trends (category, customer & competitors) to develop strong campaign briefs for planning year.
- Deliver business results by achieving marketing KPIs
- Collaborative partner who possesses a strong work ethic and drive for results with the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- 4-5 years experience with growth marketing initiatives.
- Background in B2B, preferably technology or SW companies
- Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams.
- Agile leadership style that can thrive in an innovative, dynamic and high growth environment.
- Bonus if you have experience in providing services to the Insurance Industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence & drive at an enterprise level.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to navigate and influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams and in a highly matrixed environment.
