Allegro Microsystems, a world leader in the power IC's, is currently seeking a hands-on Sr. Program Manager to work in our Power IC Business Unit. This person will utilize IC product development experience, project management concepts and best-known methods & tools to develop highly integrated analog & mixed signal IC products and to improve development processes & methodology. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, communication, support, and training to both internal project teams and external support organizations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and team members to plan project deliverables, resources, budget, and schedule
• Maintain project timelines
• Track project deliverables of in-flight projects using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to the project team
• Mentor project team members to foster and promote a positive team atmosphere
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from feasibility phase through product introduction
• Communicate project status to key stakeholders and manage expectations on project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources
• Present reports defining project progress, risks, and solutions
• Ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved while following Allegro's established development process
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry
• Understanding of IC product development flow is a must (analog and mixed signal ICs experience is preferred)
• 5+ years project management experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage conflict in a stressful environment
• Understands and listens to team members and fosters a productive team environment
• Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: Smart Sheets, Sharepoint, MS Office, in addition to experience working within shared work environments
