We are currently seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

The candidate will be responsible for providing onsite support to the Navy PMS397 W Group T&E team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and management to the CLB program office requirements team. Participates on a team of highly experienced professional government and contractor support personnel.
• Develops Metrics to measure project/program progress towards established goals and objectives.
• Is the Lead and SME for CLB program office requirements documents such as CONOPS, OMS/MP, FD/SC, CDD, and VOLT.
• Is assigned broad responsibility to ensure ship design and delivery configuration supports the operational and warfare requirements in the CDD and other DoD and DoN level requirements documents. Frequently interfaces with SSBN fleet, OPNAV and Intelligence Community.
• Assists with program office efforts to verify CLB Design - Build - Test - Sustain processes meet SSBN fleet operational, availability, reliability, and safety requirements. SME for submarine in-service issues.
• Assists in the development, review, and approval of testing plans and at-sea demonstrations.
• Reviews and assists with validating CLB SSBN ILS products for IOC and life cycle support.

Basic qualifications:

• Must possess a current DoD Secret level security clearance
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience with Navy (DoD) acquisition programs
• US Submarine Department Head (i.e Engineer, Navigator, Combat Systems Officer) with service within the last 8 years
• Able to work onsite, full time with Navy customer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Desired experience level is served SSN or SSBN XO or senior.
• Will consider dated operational experience with additional submarine support experience as a civilian supporting the USW enterprise.
