The Corporate Operations Group exists to operationalize the Databricks corporate strategy by leading the optimization of programs, processes, cross functional alignment and engagement models to scale the business for continued hyper-growth. Successful candidates for the role will possess both a strategic business outlook and the keen analytical skills to be able to look at the data and requirements of various strategic initiatives, while understanding the bigger picture and business objectives. The impact you will have:
- Lead and manage strategic corporate programs working effectively in a highly matrixed environment, across multiple stakeholdersÂ
- Actively listen to truly understand a business problem, communicate effectively both internally and externally, make connections, and develop trusted partnershipsÂ
- Provides strategic and operationally savvy insights on large cross functional programs by conducting ongoing analysis to identify trends, variances, risks, issuesÂ
- Ensures program execution and management by defining a clearly articulated business objective and success outcomes for the program, partner with cross functional business teams to drive accountability to reach desired outcomes, and establishes the appropriate operating rhythmÂ
- Drives key program objectives by identifying, clearly communicating, and removing impediments that block the team's ability to execute
- Enables a tailored approach to meet the customer / business needs by adjusts behavior and outcomes based on the dynamics of the team, stakeholder, and program situation(s)Â
What we look for:
- 7+ years of project or program management experience with a proven ability to lead and deliver on strategic and tactical business objectives
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build trusting relationships, credibility, and strong communications skills to influence stakeholder, connect partners to improve project decision-making, which drives business value
- Bachelor's Degree required
