ABOUT THE POSITION
Columbia Sportswear Company's Human Resources organization aims to advance company strategy and connect talented people with their passions through work and a life outside. We need passionate people to create exceptional products, differentiated consumer experiences, and to grow the business.
The Sr. Program Manager will oversee Columbia Sportswear Company's portfolio of Leadership Development programs. These are designed to support leadership through learning and growth. This person will partner with HRBPs, talent ops, business leaders, and external partners to define overall business metrics for learning solutions.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Oversee and lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide Leadership Development programs.
- Lead the program design by collaborating with HR partners and other key functional leaders to define overall learning objectives and solutions
- Lead special projects and initiatives to support management development through various channels
- Build infrastructure to collect program metrics/KPIs to measure and report on program effectiveness
- Proactively change programs, delivery methods or content to meet changing user needs
- Identify vendors and training platforms, and modifying existing programs as needed
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively managing numerous priorities and expectations
YOU ARE
- Enthusiastic about developing leadership capabilities in others
- An innovative thinker and articulate communicator
- Experience in using instructional design
- Deeply strategic, always starting with the end in mind
- Adept at shifting easily between competing priorities
- Someone with a record of over-achievement in OD/HR/L&D or change management specifically
- A people person who can build relationships quickly through being highly articulate, credible and influential
YOU HAVE
- 8+ years of HR experience with at least two years in a learning and development function
- Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, sociology, finance, human resources or other related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced skills in adult learning theory, experiential learning design, and instructional systems design
- Experience with Human Centric Design, Brain-Centric Design, and Change Management (Prosci)
- A desire to build great programs; and have fun doing it
