Job Summary
The Senior Programmatic Buyer is responsible for the development and execution of programmatic campaigns across all channels including Display and Native, Mobile, OTT, Audio and Gaming. The position works alongside media planning, advertising operations and analytics, providing planning and strategy inputs as it relates to programmatic. And ensures flawless execution and ongoing management and optimization of media campaigns that drive business outcomes for our clients.
The Senior Programmatic Media Manager will have expert, hands-on keyboard experience in multiple DSPs and Ad Servers. They will serve as Programmatic SMI and be part of an integrated team to define channels, audiences, inventory sources, KPIs and advanced measurement solutions. And will devise methods to accurately execute and measure those objectives. They will ensure operational excellence across all campaigns managed by themselves and their team as it pertains to campaign execution, measurement and budget management. And will serve as mentors to more junior buyers.

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $80,000 to $100,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.

General Responsibilities
- Work with media planning and strategy to provide tactical programmatic planning recommendations including but not limited to audience discovery, channels and devices, inventory and measurement solutions
- Design and execute media campaigns that are based on established RTB and premium programmatic strategies
- Vet quality audience data and inventory sources that best align with campaign objectives
- Oversee and ensure campaign design, measurement and budget accuracy across accounts and channel tactics
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, guidance, and support to platform team members to improve personal and team performance
- Manage and oversee the team's day to day responsibilities and assignments to ensure that each client, campaign and team member has the appropriate resources
- Serve as an escalation point on campaigns for internal teams and clients they represent
- Serve as point of contact for external vendors and partners and set regular meetings to learn about new offerings
- Support leadership during the testing of new vendors, technology, products, etc. as needed with the goal of driving innovation, improving results and meeting business objectives for the team and the agency
- Work closely with media planning and analytics teams to determine best practices for campaign optimization strategy and execution approach
- Educate internal and external clients on campaign design, results and optimizations
- Maintain a refined knowledge of the entire digital media landscape to make sue th team is up to date on industry trends, tools and developments
- Provide insights into new, innovating ways to achieve client objectives through varied use of digital strategies and platforms
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes Required
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in planning and executing digital media buys including paid search, social and programmatic OR Bachelor's degree in marketing/advertising with a focus on digital
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, analytical mind-set and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and trends in order to continually optimize media campaigns for efficient ROI
- Excellent interpersonal skills as the role requires working with a variety of teams internally and externally
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager a plus
