Sr. Project Analyst

Reviews, analyzes, compiles, and evaluates data on standardization and protocols of methodology and equipment. Addresses both temporary and long-term technical initiatives as needed. Makes recommendations to management and coordinates implementation of new equipment/ methodologies. Ensures timely completion of projects and meets deadlines of projects. May lead other Project Analysts and will train analysts as required.

Skill Requirements

Vision Requirements: Able to pass standardized (color) vision test, as required by test performed.

License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. Degree in Computer Science w/7+ years of experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Analyst to join our IT team. The Senior Project Analyst will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing large-scale IT projects from conception to implementation. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet project requirements.

• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation schedules.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project goals, risks, and dependencies.

• Evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project analysts and team members.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, status reports, and project closure reports.

• Continuously improve project management methodologies, processes, and tools.

• Participate in post-project evaluations to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale projects.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.

• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
