Sr. Project Manager (Technical Organization)

As an accomplished project manager, reporting to CTO (Chief Technology Officer), this is a wonderful opportunity to join a fast-growing, exciting company to plan, organize and manage technical projects and initiatives across the organization. You will be a catalyst for change and support the evolution of the team culture to achieve technical excellence and maintain great organizational health.
You Will:

• Manage key projects and initiatives spanning technical and business teams
• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
• Use influence to drive v-teams responsible for executing the different projects, aligning, and getting buy-in from functional managers
• Coordinate project team members and develop schedules and individual responsibilities
• Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Drive a regular sync for project teams as well as frequent syncs on specific topics and projects
• Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
• Support day-to-day operations and help execute rhythm of business (ROB) activities
• Lead the organization's preparation for all business reviews
• Manage the technical organization's communications and set communication standards to be used by the different technical teams
• Support the evolution of the team culture - including helping define KPIs, initiatives for inclusiveness of remote employees, and other activities with an aim of achieving best-in-class organizational health
• Ensure that best practices are implemented, and decisions are documented for initiatives and processes
• Manage risk, escalate issues as appropriate

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent working experience
• 2+ years of experience in software related or other large-scale project management experience
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and on budget
• Ability to breakdown a large and complex project into distinct and incremental deliverables
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including effective communication skills, both verbal and written with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
• Critical thinking, ability to challenge others and drive productivity, while maintaining strong business relationships
• Experience with IT service management and industry trends
• Experience with agile methodology and using Jira
