HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Sr. Project Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Product Management in the Product management. This role is responsible for overseeing the project(s) from initial requirements gathering through implementation, and eventually delivering the project. This individual will coordinate across several internal and external teams to create project plans and schedules created with a goal of ensuring implementations are completed on time while adhering to client expectations. This individual will also be involved in pre-sale product conversations with clients/prospects. Acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Lead and manage implementation of product and services for Retirement Services offerings
  • Gain deeper understanding of customer objectives, needs, and constraints and collaborate internally to develop value-added solutions
  • Maintain communication throughout project to relevant parties, including educating clients and stakeholders on downstream implications on project decisions
  • Deliver and follow through commitments with high quality and communicating early when commitments are at risk. Manage client escalations and mitigate risks by identifying proactive solutions
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs while reporting on project status
  • Build and deliver project plans to various stakeholder groups
  • Conduct pre-kickoff and kickoff meetings to get alignment on project goals, objectives, milestones, deliverables, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the domain and products and recommend product enhancements based on feedback from several client implementations
  • Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, Product Development or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Formal project management training/certification (PMP Certification a strong plus)
  • Experience with various technology solutions including Salesforce and Service-oriented architecture
  • Background in Financial Services and Fintech strongly preferred
  • Must be a strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with a solid technical , project management, and analytic foundation
  • Conveying timelines, deliverables, risks, delays, and impacts to project team members and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams
  • Ability to be assertive with business priorities and address opposing viewpoints while adhering to Agile concepts and principles
  • Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills to connect and engage with the team, facilitate discussions, advocate for the team, negotiate with the business, mentor team members, and resolve conflicts
  • Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
  • Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously and manage stressful situations
  • Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions
