You Will:

• Champion quality - practices, processes, and product. 
• Help own the overall product quality. Design, implement, perform, and maintain test plans.
• Work within an agile team to plan and execute test cases, create new QA practices, processes, and documentation in a scalable and maintainable manner. 
• Interpret and refine acceptance criteria, ensuring it matches overall project requirements.
• Report and track issues/bugs accurately and effectively.
• Expand and master your structured finance knowledge. 
• Gain exposure to many facets of the consumer lending, structured credit, ABS, and MBS spaces. 
• Be working with information from a variety of sources (loan-level transaction data, deal documents, trustee reporting, internal validations outputs, etc.) that all flow into dv01's wide range of client offerings. Understanding the product, how it serves our customers,  and common user flows.
• Make an impact on our automated QA.
• Work with the SDET engineering team on what test scenarios should be automated and review their changes. 
• Assist the SDET team with test coverage decisions. 

You Are:

• Experienced with QA Skills and Best Practices. 
• An accomplished tester who strives for a quality product and user experience.
• Knowledgeable about various testing methods (black box, white box, exploratory, boundary), QA testing tools, and how/when to use them. 
• Able to leverage various skills and known best practices to mentor and lead the quality efforts.
• Articulate and a Thorough communicator. 
• Meticulous about describing issues/problems in detail, looping in appropriate parties to explore solutions and communicating results to stakeholders. 
• Precise when writing out a problem, and are not afraid to speak up to senior engineers in finding solutions.
• Unafraid of validating messy processes. 
• Driven by finding errors in existing processes and helping scope out solutions, from data logic errors to product run errors. 
• Experienced, with at least 5 years in the QA field. 
• Knowledgeable about interacting with front-end and back-end. 
• Familiar with front-end software, back-end calls, SQL Databases and how to interact/test. 
• BONUS:
• Experience with Release Management
• Data quality knowledge. Specifically ETLs and data pipelines.
• Experience with React, GraphQL, and/or Postgres
