Sr. QA Engineer

Let's define "Sr QA Engineer" as we see it. You love to and are great at:

• Establish a software quality process including aspects of test-driven development, test planning, automated quality gating, and test automation that measurably and continually improves the agreement of our deployed code with documented requirements over time.
• Mentor junior QA analysts, engineers, and product managers in good habits and best practices surrounding software quality and quality controls.
• Ensure that all software that is deployed into a production environment meets a standard that is continually striving for qualitative and quantitative excellence

Your role is responsible for creating and maintaining automated QA systems that increse the quality of our deployments.

What you ideally bring to the team:

• Demonstrable expertise in QA automation.
• 3+ years experience as a software engineer or QA analyst/engineer in a high growth company.
• 1+ years of experience as a QA analyst/engineer.
• B.S. in computer science or similarly quantitative academic field OR 4+ years of truly comparable skills development experience.
• A "bias toward action" startup mentality.
• Strong ability to drive process improvement and organizational change.
• People management experience
• AWS specific experience
