About the Role:

Madison logic is looking for an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to oversee our Quality Assurance team. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.

To ensure success as a Senior QA Engineer you should have extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top-notch Senior QA Engineer ensures the smooth running of the QA department and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Proactive communication with QA Lead, QA team members, Engineering team.
• Contribute at automation framework level.
• Create test plan/test coverage by considering all corner cases in TestRail.
• Develop new automation test scripts.
• Maintain existing automated test cases.
• Log defects in Jira bug trucking system.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Reviewing and composing Quality Assurance reports.
• Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.

Basic Responsibilities:

• 6+ years of experience in QA Engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Any automation technology e.g. Cypress or Java-Selenium.
• Hands on experience on JavaScript or any other coding language.
• Basic knowledge of node.js
• Knowledge of BDD Frameworks -cucumber, jasmine, Mocha etc.
• Knowledge of version control system Git or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tool, Jenkins/TeamCity is preferable.
• Knowledge of API/DB testing.
• Scripting or other automation tool experience, such as Java Script, Cypress, Browser Stack, Selenium, Test Rail.
