Sr. R&D Manager

This Sr. R&D Manager role will provide strategic technical leadership to the R&D Seasonings and Ingredients Product Development team within the Land O’Lakes Dairy Foods Division by deepening and broadening the team’s knowledge, expertise, and abilities along with managing technical relationships with key strategic customers.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or other technical discipline
• 10 or more years of relevant work experience in product development required.
• 3 plus years of people management experience required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint along with other statistical and data analysis systems.
• Advanced degree strongly desired

• Strong technical knowledge base including a strong understanding of food systems, ingredients, and processing interactions.
• Experienced team leader possessing strong performance management, development, coaching, listening, and effective feedback abilities.
• Excellent project management, planning, and organization skills.
• Effective communications, interpersonal and influence skills.
• Ability to understand overall S&I business strategies and translate into R&D strategies and execution.
• Experienced in applying strategic thinking skills in the creation of technical foundational learning plans.
