Sr. React Developer

eSalon is looking for a Senior React Developer to join our innovative Tech Team in improving and supporting our front end applications. From our customer facing sites to internal background tools, your goal is to keep eSalon's custom platform running smoothly. With over 293,000 unique formulations and 3 brands, there's never a dull moment (and your hair doesn't have to be either!) You'll work independently with little supervision, but also partner up with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Project Managers to deliver top quality solutions. This role will report to the Director of Software Engineering and is fully remote. What You'll Be Doing:

• Create and support UI features for the warehouse production life cycle.
• Develop robust, high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Lead and mentor developers through code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years developing in React framework and libraries.
• Experience with shipping a production React/Node.js application
• Experience with building API-based integrations
• Technical lead experience (hiring and managing developers)
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys working in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment.
• A team player who is always ready and willing to share their technical knowledge.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with PHP frameworks
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
