We are seeking a Customer Success, Renewals Specialist who will manage a portfolio of customer subscriptions to industry best in class retention rates. To be successful in this role, you need to be customer-obsessed, sales-driven individual who has a passion for technology that provides significant value to our customers. Your Impact:

• Own and lead the customer renewal process from quote to close working with sales and customer success engineering.
• Develop renewal strategies to retain and grow Databricks' client base, meeting quarterly churn targets
• Forecast and maintain rolling 180 day portfolio by identifying risk and upsell opportunities through analyzing customer data and insights together with renewals forecasting methodology.
• Collaborate with teams to maximize renewal outcome and to ensure on-time renewals by being a project manager to ensure positive progression of renewal strategy.
• Manage complex sales cycles and comprehensive save strategies
• Provide input to scale and drive internal processes and offerings to our cross-function partners

What we look for:

• Renewals-specific experience
• Customer-facing experience working in Sales or Customer Success
• Fluent in commercial conversation with sales teams and able to provide necessary guidance for business outcomes.
• Experience with enterprise IT and big data technologies
• Self-motivated and able to be successful in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong process and customer management skills, financial acuity, and adherence to policies
• Startup / scale-up experience at a similar 'stage' organization
