The Sr. Revenue Analyst plays a critical role in the revenue recognition, order management, invoicing, and collection processes and This role requires effective analytical, communication, and organizational skills. This role is a part of the Advanced Services team within the Chief Accounting Organization (CAO).

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for invoicing and collection efforts for the Advanced Services products and services
  • Ensure sales order and invoicing accuracy in accordance with contractual commitments, while researching and resolving customer disputes in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Develop a set of enhanced reports for actuals and forecasts to support management in planning and executing on various targets, such as acceleration of cash inflows, decreased aged invoices, increased accuracy, and speed and automation of customer invoices
  • Implement systematic checks for standard processes and/or potential deficiencies, which present risk to revenue recognition, invoicing, and collection processes
  • Work with CAO counterparts within the revenue, invoicing, collection, and order management processes for the core business to obtain in-depth knowledge of the Company's current processes and customer-facing documentation
  • Maintain historical customer files and aggregated files to manage and reporting effectively; aging, milestones, required journal entries, and ad hoc accounting deliverables as identified
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend process improvement needs
  • Prepare the ASC 606 revenue allocation for all booked deals
  • Run the shipping report and prepare journal entries to defer COGS and invoice as necessary
  • Run the acceptance report and create journal entries to recognize revenue and COGS
  • Prepare all month-end closing requirements within the required deadlines, while providing timely status updates
  • Complete and analyze monthly account reconciliations

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced skillset in Excel
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting
  • Ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
  • Capacity to prioritize, manage and execute multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to convey clear, concise messages to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and diverse personality styles
  • Ability to analyze and recommend improvements to existing processes (financial and business)
  • Background check

Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, Accounting, Finance, Economics with 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or business-related function

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP, Salesforce, or other CRM experience
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Previous experience working within a finance role at a SaaS based company and/or start-up environment

Work Conditions:

  • Depending on work requirements, work conditions may be in the office or remote as specified by manager
  • Heavy workload during peak times
