Intercom's global Sales organization is continuing to grow and the Sales Enablement team is evolving to support this growth. The Enablement team’s mission is to empower Intercom sellers with the right stories, knowledge and go-to-market skills that will drive valuable engagement with prospective buyers.
As a Senior Sales Enablement Manager, you’ll be the primary Sales Enablement practitioner in a highly innovative and fast paced environment. You’ll be responsible for designing, creating and delivering continuous learning programs for Account Executives, Relationship Managers and Front Line Managers. We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team to help shape how we deliver best in class enablement.
The role requires excellent communication and organization skills. Additionally, effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales Operations, Marketing, Sales Leadership, SDR teams, and the global Sales Enablement team is essential.
What I Will Be Doing? 🚀Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, you will own and drive all Intercom’s Sales Enablement Activities and Programs for North America and APAC. You’ll be responsible for:
- Scoping knowledge gaps and enablement requests to assess the right enablement approach
- Designing, developing and delivering of training (in-person, remote, self-paced) for our growing global sales team
- Building strong relationships with sales leadership to identify short term and long term needs
- Partnering cross-functionally on the development of new sales workflows and processes
- Partner with our Product Marketing team to design and create content materials that will help our Sales reps to sell Intercom
- Project managing Sales Enablement initiatives, such as Sales Kickoff
- Setting program goals, measuring results/KPIs and documenting success
- 5-8 years in a Sales Enablement and/or a quota carrying sales role in a SaaS organization
- Experience delivering presentations and facilitating training, both in-person and virtually
- Experience designing and launching large scale enablement initiatives that involve varied audiences & stakeholders
- Experience building curriculum, and designing delivery and assessment mechanisms
- Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, including senior leadership
- Deep understanding of sales competencies and methodologies
- An intuitive sense for taking complex or large bodies of information and delivering the right information at the right time
- Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) and interpersonal skill; positive, flexible attitude
- A highly motivated, self-starter, problem solving demeanor
- Experience in developing a strong team culture and building / leading high performing teams with and without direct influence
- Experience of using Salesforce.com, Outreach, Gong, 6Sense and Clari
- Worked in a globally distributed team
- A background in methodologies like Command of the Message, MEDDPICC, Challenges Selling, and John Barrow’s Filling the Funnel
