The Role
Medely is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Senior Salesforce Administrator and Engineer to be responsible for the design, ongoing development, maintenance and support of Salesforce and its related systems, integrations and platforms. The administrator would have a knack for continuous improvement and a deep understanding of how Salesforce can drive our business forward. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements and feedback from stakeholders, designing scalable solutions, and guiding the product roadmap. You should excel in managing support tickets, developing standard operating procedures, troubleshooting user issues, and crafting innovative solutions.
We're seeking someone with deep Salesforce expertise who can quickly assess current system strengths and limitations, and effectively lead any required efforts to re-architect the system for optimal efficiency and alignment with Medely's strategic direction and revenue needs. This role will also be responsible for overseeing and managing integrations with other Sales and Marketing, and Customer Success tools connected to Salesforce, including but not limited to Outreach, Gong, Ironclad, Marketo, LeanData and Gainsight. Success in this role requires strong change management and governance experience, and the ability to communicate, prioritize and manage all aspects of Salesforce projects. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with team members at all seniority levels across many teams at Medely, translating technical information into layman's terms and providing clear explanations of design options and their potential impact.
The Impact You’ll Make
Lead efforts to maintain and enhance the accuracy of information in our CRM. This involves identifying potential inaccuracies, root cause analysis, recommending and implementing solutions, and enforcing guidelines and master data principles in collaboration with other departments.
Ensure our Salesforce environment design is architected optimally to support our different GTM organizations, sales verticals and future company direction
Evaluate new Salesforce releases and related applications, actively participate in planning and implementing solutions, and stay updated on the best practices in Salesforce administration and development.
Collaborate with our Product, Engineering, and Data teams to develop and maintain system integrations, ensuring that Salesforce serves as the central source of truth.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to gather business requirements and determine how to effectively translate them to Salesforce.com workflow
Take responsibility for the ongoing development, maintenance, and support of existing Salesforce-related systems, integrations, and platforms as we work on rebuilding our environment to support our expanding sales verticals.
Own data management to improve Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Ironclad, Marketo and LeanData data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
Administration and Maintenance of SFDC, Gong, Outreach and LeanData
Work cross functionally with our Business Intelligence and Product teams to ensure accurate data is flowing into SFDC
Create Visual Flows to simplify repetitive or multi-step processes.
All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
Help with ad-hoc reports and maintain/update current reports and Dashboards
Manage mass imports and exports of data using Data Loader and DemandTools
Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues
Regularly perform data deduping and cleanup procedures
Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
Author and maintain all related system documentation, including requirements, process flows, use cases, and procedures.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
Identify unused or underutilized platform features and drive their usability to streamline efficiencies and processes, effectively communicating these efficiencies and implementation plans to various stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Medely's Marketing team to ensure that qualified sales leads are routed to the correct vertical teams.
Prepare user training materials and conduct periodic training sessions.
Help architect a Deal Desk between Salesforce and Ironclad.
Who You Are
8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Business Analyst certifications are preferred.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
A strong grasp of sales operations systems and processes.
The ability to consistently deliver work on time, providing well-vetted reporting and business recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field would be an advantage
